Acceptable Use & Anti-Abuse Policy

This policy is part of the Uplyze Terms of Service and explains, in detail, what the Service may be used for, what it must never be used for, and what we actively do to keep it that way. Where this policy and the Terms overlap, the stricter provision applies. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. What Uplyze Is — and What It Only Does

Uplyze is a monitoring service. It requests the publicly served pages of domains that you have explicitly registered in your account, from various network vantage points, and reports what a visitor from those locations would see. That is the entire scope of its network activity on your behalf. The Service does not crawl the web, does not index third-party sites, does not harvest content, and never requests anything you have not configured it to request.

2. Authorized Monitoring Only

• You may register only domains that you own, operate, or are expressly authorized to monitor (for example, an advertiser's offer page under an active affiliate agreement that permits availability checks).
• The Service provides a page-verification mechanism (meta tag / keyword). We may require verification for any domain, and we may suspend monitoring of any domain whose authorization is credibly disputed by its owner.
• A domain owner who does not wish to be monitored by a specific Uplyze account may contact [email protected]; we will verify the request and disable the monitor.

3. Public Data Only

• Checks fetch only what a web server publicly serves to an ordinary visitor at the registered URL. The Service does not bypass authentication, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, or any technical access control, and must not be configured to attempt it.
• Transaction monitors may only exercise flows on hosts you are authorized to test, using ports 80/443, and are technically prevented from reaching private, internal, or cloud-metadata addresses.
• The Service is not a scraping tool. Using it to extract third-party content, prices, or data at scale is prohibited and technically constrained (response bodies are truncated to the small excerpt needed to classify page status).

4. No Personal Data of Site Visitors

Uplyze checks pages; it does not observe people. Checks store the HTTP status, timing, headers relevant to classification, and a short excerpt of the page body of your own registered page. The Service deploys no tracking pixels, collects no data about your visitors, and receives no traffic from them. Our own data practices are described in the Privacy Policy, which follows a data-minimization principle.

5. Anti-Phishing and Anti-Fraud — What We Enforce, Not Just Forbid

We do not accept phishing, malware, or deceptive operations as customers, and we have standing machinery pointed at our own customer base:

• Every monitored domain is continuously screened against Google Web Risk and public blocklists (Spamhaus-class DNSBLs, phishing/malware feeds). These signals are shown to the customer — and reviewed by us.
• Where screening or a report indicates that a monitored domain is used for phishing, malware distribution, credential harvesting, brand impersonation, or payment fraud, we may suspend monitoring immediately and without notice, terminate the account, and preserve relevant records.
• We respond to lawful requests from authorities and cooperate with registrars, hosting providers, and ad networks on confirmed abuse.
• Fraud against the Service itself — stolen payment instruments, chargeback abuse, multi-accounting to farm trials — leads to immediate termination.

6. Fair Use of the Proxy Network

• Residential and mobile network access is used solely to render your registered pages from a viewer's vantage point. It is not a general-purpose proxy, cannot be addressed directly, and its credentials are never exposed to customers.
• Check volume is bounded by your plan (domains × monitored countries × check interval) and by per-account ceilings. Attempts to multiply volume beyond plan intent — registering the same domain repeatedly, abusing manual re-checks, automating the UI — are prohibited.
• Generating attack traffic, load testing, availability flooding, or probing systems for vulnerabilities through the Service is prohibited without exception.

7. Tracker Automation Boundaries

• Campaign auto-pause acts only on your own tracker (Keitaro, Binom, or a compatible system), through an API key you supply, against campaigns you mapped. Uplyze never interacts with advertising platforms directly.
• You remain solely responsible for compliance with the terms of the advertising platforms and networks you buy traffic from. Uplyze is a monitoring and budget-protection tool; it is not a cloaking, filtering, or policy-evasion tool, and must not be combined with the Service to that end.
• Automation verdicts and savings figures are estimates based on your own configuration and our measurements; they are decision support, not a guarantee (see Terms, §§10–11).

8. API and Rate Limits

• API keys are per-account, subject to per-key and per-plan rate limits and a per-plan key count. Keys must not be shared, resold, or embedded in public clients.
• Automated access outside the documented API (scraping the dashboard, replaying internal endpoints) is prohibited.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Service, its software, design, verdict taxonomy, and documentation are the property of Uplyze. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use them for your own monitoring while your subscription is active.
• Your data stays yours: the domains you register, the configurations you create, and the reports generated for you. We claim no ownership over them and use them only to operate the Service.
• Aggregated, fully de-identified operational statistics (for example, “share of checks blocked per country”) may be used to improve and describe the Service; they never identify a customer or a customer’s domain.

10. Enforcement

Proportionate by default, immediate when it must be: technical violations normally get a warning and a correction window; confirmed phishing, malware, fraud, CSAM, or attack traffic get immediate suspension or termination with no refund of the current billing period (Terms §§3, 9). We may throttle first where that protects other customers. Decisions can be appealed at [email protected].

11. Reporting Abuse

To report a domain monitored by Uplyze, misuse of the Service, or a security issue: [email protected]. Reports are read by a human. For security vulnerabilities, please include reproduction steps; we do not pursue good-faith researchers acting within this policy.
